Northern exposure for some may be a bone-chilling, even life-threatening experience, but in choral terms we can all be intrepid explorers of an exciting repertoire from the north – unfamiliar territory, perhaps, but so refreshing! Feel free to tap your fingers and wiggle your toes without the ravages of frost-bite as Cathures, the Glasgow-based chamber choir, sings a programme from a clear northern perspective: works by Grieg, Berg and some others closer to home, as serenely beautiful as any northern landscape.

Earth Songs
Choral works by Baltic composers and music and readings celebrating the natural world. To mark international Earth Hour, the church lights will be turned off at half past eight and the choir will perform the second half of the concert in darkness.
